An Orientation Ceremony That Brings the Future into Focus

What was the purpose of this event?

The primary goal of the event was to formally notify new graduates of their job offers and to strengthen their motivation to join the company. It was designed to help the attendees gain a deeper understanding of MARK STYLER, build excitement for their future careers, and ensure that they left with a positive impression, thinking, “MARK STYLER is a great place to be.”

Why did you choose our company to organize this event?

Having previously entrusted GP with both award ceremonies and orientation events, we had firsthand experience of their precise guidance, flexibility in handling challenges, and overall event management expertise. These experiences built a strong sense of trust, making GP the natural choice to handle this year’s ceremony as well.

What aspects did you focus on while planning this event?

The most important aspect was fostering communication—between new hires and current employees, as well as among the new hires themselves. Since employees are assigned to various locations after joining the company, we wanted them to not only get a sense of MARK STYLER’s presence and culture, but also to understand the perspectives of brand directors and area managers. Additionally, we designed opportunities for the new hires to connect and build relationships with one another.

What were the biggest challenges in executing this event?

Finding a suitable venue was one of the most difficult aspects. Since the final number of attendees was confirmed only at the last minute, it was challenging to secure a location that met all the necessary criteria, including accessibility, ambiance, and capacity.

What stood out about our company’s support and approach?

GP’s quick response to any and all challenges was incredibly helpful. Their extensive knowledge of corporate event planning and creative ideas made a significant impact, as they demonstrated a deep understanding of our company and proposed solutions that perfectly matched both our vision and objectives.

How did participants respond to this event?

The feedback from new hires was overwhelmingly positive. Many expressed that they appreciated the opportunity to hear firsthand from employees about their passion for their brands, which helped them obtain a deeper sense of connection. Others felt that receiving their official offer made them feel a greater sense of responsibility toward their new roles. The networking session was also well-received, as it provided a chance to hear candid insights from current employees.

How do you want to develop this event in the future?

From a human resources perspective, the offer ceremony is the official day when employment contracts take effect, making the formal, ceremonial aspect crucial. However, beyond formality, it is equally important to help new hires develop a sense of belonging and enthusiasm for the company. Moving forward, we aim to refine the balance between the official ceremony and networking sessions, incorporating engaging content that shares the company’s story, while fostering stronger connections between new hires and employees. By continuously improving these elements, we hope to further enhance new hires’ loyalty and excitement for their careers at MARK STYLER.
