Turning the Employee’s Awards Ceremony into an Opportunity for Internal Communication.

What was the purpose of this event?

“ALL NISSO 2024” was an event aimed at recognizing outstanding employees, and fostering a sense of attachment to the company. Additionally, this year, there was also a focus on bolstering internal communication.

Why did you entrust this event to our company?

We had previously engaged with your company two years ago. Although last year’s event was handled by a different company, we decided to reconsider and, based on the variety of ideas and quick responses made during the proposal presentation, we chose to work with GP again.

What were the key points of focus while planning this event?

Communication was a primary focus. Even within our company, employees may not work together if they are based in different locations, so there was a demand for opportunities to foster interactions among employees, during such events.

The awards ceremony and the second part’s raffle are annual traditions. Therefore, we aimed to maintain the usual flow while incorporating some novelty, allowing in-person participants to gather at the headquarters for face-to-face interaction, and ensuring that online participants could also engage in two-way communication.

What were some challenges in organizing this event?

It was difficult to finalize the details for the second part. Moreover, since we emphasized in-person participation this time, balancing the enjoyment for both in-person and online attendees was a challenge. There were other challenging aspects, such as obtaining internal approval within a tight schedule. However, with GP’s detailed scheduling, the overall process went more smoothly than last year.

What stood out in your interactions with GP?

During the initial presentation, the event’s flow was not only seamless but also cohesively built around a single theme, which was impressive. Additionally, GP delved deeper into the theme than we had, and presented various ideas that we thought were helpful.

GP also provided detailed checks during the event, making it easier for us to keep things on track.

How did the participants react?

In a post-event survey, about 80% of the participants responded positively, in regards to the contents of the event. The video presentations received particularly good feedback, and the new approach to the raffle in the second part was well-received.

Was the event’s purpose achieved?

According to the post-event survey, about 60% of participants felt an increased sense of belonging and motivation, which was a positive outcome. However, the logistics of in-person participation and two-way communication remain as areas for improvement next year.

How would you like to develop this event in the future?

We would like to further strengthen the communication aspect among employees. Additionally, although the multi-purpose hall at the headquarters was used as the broadcasting venue this time, there were suggestions that a different venue might be better. However, having only a single in-person venue can pose challenges in terms of travel time, and work adjustments for different locations, so we are also considering the possibility of using multiple venues.
