EPS2018 Voices From the Students
2018.10.29
Hello everyone!
It is a GP staff En.
EVENT PRODUCERS SCHOOL 2018 ended last month.
Not only the production but also the follow-up measures after the end of the production should be well done, and we asked the students for interviews!
Despite sudden things, everyone wrote kindly (Deeply moved)
Again, I will put the words of the students here!
Yumika Shimotani from Okutani Group
-Please tell us how you applied for the EPS of GP.
I learned about GP and this intern by participating in EXPO.
I thought that it seemed to be fun with one night and two days intern at another small one.
-What is your first impression about the work of the event?
I had the impression that it was a glamorous world.
-Did the impression change after passing the EPS?
As it was a highly flexible task to think of a new project to make the GP leap,
I was able to pursue what I was interested in.
I thought that it might be a reality and that it was both a glamorous and a dream.
In addition, I realized that there are many steady ways to work behind the glamorous.
-Please tell us about your intern experience this time and what you think is good.
With the best members, we finished completely and won a Grand Prize!
Of course! The team members were able to meet as friends even after the intern.

-Please tell us how you applied for the EPS of GP.
Originally aiming at the event industry, it appears in the exhibition of MyNavi,
I applied immediately because they were about to do an intern.
-What is your first impression about the work of the event?
I had to go through hard job in able to make a dream.
-Please tell us about your intern experience this time and what you think is good.
First of all, I was able to meet the best pals.
By meeting different types of people, I learned that there are diverse values.
In addition, my ideas grew and I grew up by touching people full of talent.
The other is to create it yourself.
I seriously thought that the world would be fun if there were any through this intern.
And I seriously thought how GP would make a leap.
At first, it was hard to get used to creating things that I was unfamiliar with.
Over the course of the team’s discussions many times, it was vague, but I felt that I got some tips.
Think in your own position while standing in the other’s position. I felt that was important.
-What is the most painful thing?
The hardest thing was the last run.
It was quite hard to make it at last minute and noticing since I tend to procrastinate with the things.
However, the entire team actively cooperated, so it was difficult, but I was able to take it and thought it was fun at last.
Raimu Mizutani from Miyanaga Group
-What is your first impression about the work of the event?
The impression I thought was it would be difficult but worthwhile.
I thought it would be fun for anyone who likes to be involved in the event.
-Did the impression change after passing the EPS?
It was realllllly difficult!
It was rewarding and enjoyable, but I was unable to see ahead
remorse when something that was made with confidence did not pierce too much,
there was more than ever before.
I feel that the word “responsibility” is so important.
-Please tell us about your intern experience this time and what you think is good.
Knowing the importance of moving in a team,
I was able to reconfirm that the plan I enjoy was also received by the other party.
In fact, I think that I do not want to cooperate with anyone because I usually like one person and do not want to bother others.
I thought that this intern would be really hard for a month.
If everyone did not have this time, everyone would have helped me to such an extent that I could not have made such a plan.
Rather I could not do anything … Sometimes I felt it was good to be a team!
-What is the most painful thing?
The hardest thing about this intern was
I thought that I had to create content for foreigners.
Although it is said that it is for foreigners, I am not foreigner and couldn’t find out what they are looking for …
People fall into the idea of not being able to come up with ideas, only time went out …
That period was so painful, telling the truth, I did not want to attend a meeting at that time.
However, thanks to Haru’s advice and I felt, “I can not receive anything unless I want to do something that I think is fun, I think we are too foreign-bound to foreigners.”
I really appreciate it because I think that if he had not said that I had been bogged down.
Masafumi Shibasaki from Satomura Group
-Please tell us how you applied for the EPS of GP.
I felt that the elaborate booth and atmosphere at EXPO seemed to be very enjoyable.
-What is your first impression about the work of the event?
I felt that it was gorgeous and very fun.
-Did the impression change after passing the EPS?
It changed a little, and there were a lot of unrefined parts behind the event, and I felt that various people worked hard and could do something fun.
-Please tell us about your intern experience and what you think is good, what is the most painful thing?
I think I got the power to look around.
I wonder if everyone is thinking about it now, whether it’s all right or not, the atmosphere is good, and as a leader I can grow in terms of care while looking at such places.
I felt tired when I had hard time to come up with a fresh opinion or a highly viable opinion.
Fukuda Yume from Yamamoto Group
-Please tell us how you applied for the EPS of GP.
I was interested in “Producing” and found a company that produces events in various industries.
Since the event industry itself does not have many internships, I thought it would be useful for industry research.
In addition, the president can give you a talk on planning and presentation know-how,
I’m interested in an attractive project like no other, such as a training camp using an elementary school, and I applied for it.
-What is your first impression about the work of the event?
About the work of event produce,
at first, I thought it was the main thing to attend the event site.
The impression like a director on site was a strong impression.
-Did the impression change after passing the EPS?
After EPS, I learned that event production is a job that transforms ideas into form.
In the process of giving ideas and materializing the subject matter given by the client,
many people are involved and they are reworked many times.
I thought that it was possible to create something that would satisfy our clients because it was just that.
It was also impressive that the emphasis was on presentation.
In order to be recognized as a great project, you need a project book and a presentation that makes them persuade,
above all, it is important to have a way of communication that thinks the other person, not the subject itself.
Just because it is an event produce that sells things rather than things, it’s good to get the other person to know the attraction. It turned out that a presentation to get you thinking was important.
-Please tell us about your intern experience and what you think is good, what is the most painful thing?
The first thing I thought was good is to know the importance of my friends.
I was able to design and convince the things with all the help and power of many people, such as team members, fellows who participate in the intern together, seniors, and mentors.
It was really nice to get a best pals.
Second, I could not only know about the event industry, but also felt it through out experience.
I was able to learn a lot about the company named GLOBAL PRODUCE, such as being able to create ideas for the company’s leap and produce and to have many opportunities to work with the employees who actually work.
The third one was the regrettable experience.
I was aiming to win, but I could not achieve my goal.
About a month and a half, I was able to feel the greatness of the other four teams’ presentations, and I learned a lot of reflections at the same time because I absorbed a lot of things, such as how to make PPT appear and how to make a presentation.
It is not a pleasant memory, but I think it is possible to make the most of it next time without being over there by being able to make it a frustrating experience. Based on this experience, I would like to connect in the future.
-Finally, please tell me “My Best Job” at EPS!
“My best job” is that I took the lead in leading meetings and tasks.
My team had club activities and interns for each member, so I couldn’t get together easily. In addition, the first proposal has been awkward and frustrating.
That’s why we shared the progress and decided the time and shared roles so that we could efficiently meet and work when gathered.
Watanabe from Yano Group
-What is your first impression about the work of the event?
“Work that pleases people” was my first impression.
-Did the impression change after passing the EPS?
It has not changed.
However, until today, I felt that the words “conveying happiness” are more appropriate than words “to please”.
-Please tell us about your intern experience this time and what you think is good.
I could not get the award, but I think that if the first thing was their plan, it was about creating something important enough that all members could say with confidence.
Even after this intern was over, I was able to meet pals who would like to keep in touch.
-What is the most painful thing?
When it comes to knowing the fact that the idea that I thought “I’m doing!” and proceeded for one day was forced to give up on the next day.
Postscript:
EVENT PRODUCERS SCHOOL held every year
I met various students and received various stimuli from them.
I feel like I’ve grown a step further.
Thank you everyone!
And finally, thanks so much!
Last and last
Great help with Otaka who was charge with the interview.
Thank you!!
