Event production! Points for Successful Events [Transceiver]

2019.12.09

Hello everyone!
This is Matsunoshita who is addicted to watching “Earth Dramatic-Japanese TV documentary Show”.

This time, I would like to explain about “Transceiver”, a must-have item that is indispensable for the success of the event.

Have you ever seen a person talking to something like a small microphone with earphones in their ears at various events?

You might think that “What are they talking about?”

Of course … we’re not talking individually (haha)

This time we approach such a question! ! !

Why is a transceiver necessary in the events?

Events cannot be successful alone.
Producers and others with various roles in each section will make the event a success.

It is “One Team”.

In other words, it is no exaggeration to say that close communication is paramount.

Kouhata, our CEO often says,
“Look the whole thing as like rooting under the venue.”

For the first time, everyone can grasp the whole thing, and the gear starts to rotate, and the event goes smoothly.
Communication is very important for that.

However, it is almost impossible at the venue to reach everyone.
We can’t shout in front of the participants, we are professional.

You must always be calm.
So, appeared! transceiver! ! That’s why

What kind of exchange are you actually doing?
Our team is divided into two main teams to create the event.
It is a progression team and an operation team.

And each has a different channel transceiver.
In short, if the progressing team has only one channel, the communication system can only be exchanged by a person with a one-channel transceiver.

And those who play a key role in the event will have a walkie talkie for both the progression team and the operations team.
In other words, both ears are blocked by the transceiver.

From both ears, progress information and management information always come in.
In order to manage the whole, it is necessary to understand the overall status of progress and operation.

Then, what kind of communication do the progressing team and the management team each have?
Speaking while communicating with the transceiver is called “firing”.
The progress team is mainly responsible for the progress of the event.
This is an important section to facilitate the progress of the program, mainly the management around the stage.

Next, what kind of exchanges are taking place in the management team?
The operation team is responsible for reception and guidance, and keeps track of the movements and situations of participants inside and outside the venue.

The management team is a critical team that has a huge impact on progress! !
Each team performs a perfect operation, and the overall manager always knows and manages the movements of the two teams, and one event is completed.

For example, let’s say time is pushing for 5 minutes.
Managing this lateness information is an ongoing process, using transceivers to share where time is adjusted and where it will be affected in future programs.

Based on that information, the operation is to shorten the break time by 5 minutes, and for that reason, go to the venue so that the number of people in the break time is likely to take time and the progress will not be further affected
Guidance is performed while cooperating with the transceiver.

Events are all linked.
If progress is affected, so is operation.

Therefore, management and progress are inseparable relationships.
The transceiver plays the link.

What did you think?

Transceivers are a natural part of the event, but surprisingly they play an important role and are an essential communication tool in the field.
