What is the primary purpose of this event?
The SN Leadership Summit aims to:
Allow participants from around the world to share/review our branding strategy, as well as the mid-to long-term goals of the Global Supply Network.
Strengthen the unity of global SN leaders by bringing them together in-person and fostering a mutual understanding.
Why did you entrust this event to our company?
It started because you previously handled another event for our company. At that time, the person in charge introduced your company to us. During the initial meeting, you had already prepared concrete proposals that helped with visualization. Afterwards, you continued to address our objectives and what we wanted to achieve, which is why we ended up entrusting you with the event.
What was the most important point you focused on in planning?
In addition to making plans that were aligned with the event’s objectives (venue design/program/concept/video production), we emphasized the creation of a WOW (surprise) factor, conveying our culture, providing a sense of global presence, and maintaining a focus on “beauty.” These were the keywords we provided and mainly focused on.
Consequently, we designed a stage and foyer that, while showcasing Japanese elements, were neither traditional nor outdated but new and globally appealing, centered on the Japanese concept of “Wa” (harmony). Additionally, we prepared pinwheels for all participants, creating a sense of unity within the venue.
What were the challenges in implementing the event?
Since the production started with less than a month from the finalization of the plan to the actual event, it was a race against time. During this period, there were changes in the direction of the opening video, and we had to continuously organize information until the day before the event. Setting up the preparations without making any compromises in order to exceed the participants’ expectations was quite challenging.
What was particularly impressive about the interactions and responses with our company?
Despite the short timeframe, you were able to respond flexibly to unexpected changes, from the planning stage to the actual event.
In particular, there was a heavy snowfall in Tokyo on the first night, which prevented some speakers from attending in-person on the second day. You quickly made accommodations for online participation, which was not originally planned, allowing the event to proceed smoothly.
Additionally, your advice on time management and the next steps to take throughout the event made it possible for us to proceed with confidence.
How was the participants’ response?
Given that it had been a year since the global SN leaders last met in person, the participants were very enthusiastic. They enjoyed various activities, such as the multiple workshops held during the event. The events and performances planned and executed in collaboration with your company were highly appreciated, making it a special and highly satisfying two days for the participants.
Were the event’s objectives achieved?
Yes. According to our post-event survey, 94% of participants reported that they were satisfied. I believe this high level of satisfaction is the result of the collaborative effort we had with your company in managing the event.
How would you like to develop this event in the future?
I hope to make this event one that can surpass even the highest standards every year and make participants look forward to it even more. We will continue to work hard to achieve this and look forward to further collaborations with you.
