KOBE KITANO IJINKAN Former Rein House
Venue Features
The Kitano Ijinkan Former Rein Residence is a chalk building built in 1900 on a hill in Kitano, Kobe. Although it is a Victorian-style building, traditional Japanese architectural techniques, such as roof tiles, are used throughout, giving it a nostalgic Oriental atmosphere. The "Rosetta" rose emblem, a symbol of love and blessings, is decorated throughout the building, and the furnishings are custom-made by a European atelier, making this a unique venue where one can enjoy genuine artisan.
