The Awards Ceremony Designed with a Focus on the Beauty of Decoration and the Flow of Participants’ Attention — “An Award Ceremony Where Winners Feel Comfortable”

What was the main purpose of this event?
The “KOSÉ Awards 2025” was an internal awards ceremony created to honor the daily efforts of employees, as well as the challenges they face.
The primary purpose was to recognize employees who had achieved outstanding results and contributions. However, beyond that, we wanted to create an event that would further enhance motivation for our future activities—an awards ceremony so wonderful that participants would return to their workplaces wanting to tell their colleagues, “It was a fantastic ceremony!”

Why did you entrust us with this event?
We had the pleasure of working with you for the past two awards ceremonies as well, and once again, your event planning expertise and quick responsiveness were the deciding factors in choosing you.
We especially valued the process of deciding on the theme of the awards ceremony. This time, too, the key visual you proposed at the very beginning perfectly matched our vision, and without requiring any revisions, you created a consistent world view that was carried through to the end.

What was the most important focus of this event?
We were aiming for an awards ceremony where the awardees could feel at ease. Accordingly, the focus was centered on creating a natural path of honor during the ceremony.
Until last year, the layout consisted of round tables with a red carpet in the center, where winners would walk the carpet to ascend the stage. Of course, this held its own form of elegance, but the lengthy movement time meant attention was not naturally directed to the winners, and the atmosphere sometimes became a bit too stifling.
Therefore, this time we switched to a banquet-style format with long table seating. Winners walked through the path of honor between the tables, allowing attention to be directed toward them more naturally.
What was the most difficult aspect of executing this event?
Everything was quite difficult… and that made the sense of achievement after it was over all the greater.
Even though our company’s management structure had changed just four months before the event, GP was able to flexibly adapt to and support us, which was incredibly reassuring.

What was the most memorable aspect in our interaction and support?
As the event date approached, there was a situation where the trees that were supposed to decorate the stage had not been ordered, due to a miscommunication. At that moment, GP quickly proposed an alternative plan to use the trees available at their office, and even sent us photos of every single indoor plant they had. In the end, we were able to rent the trees, but their flexible and creative response in the face of potential trouble left a strong impression.

How did the participants react?
It was very well-received! The post-event survey recorded an overall participant satisfaction rate of [95.1%], which was a very gratifying result for the operations team.
Comments included not only motivation-related feedback, such as “Like myself, the surrounding attendees became more motivated to aim for the next awards,” but also impressions like “When the doors opened for the entrance, I was overwhelmed by the magnificent atmosphere,” and “I was deeply moved by hearing stories from people I don’t usually get to meet, including those from other departments.” These responses confirmed that the event had truly achieved our goal of being an awards ceremony that people want to talk about.
Was the purpose of this event achieved?
Yes, we believe it was achieved, and we are very satisfied. Precisely because of that, we now also feel an eager desire to make it even better next time.

How would you like to develop this event in the future?
Actually, 2026 marks the 80th anniversary of our company’s founding.
For such a momentous occasion, we are determined to host an even more powerful awards ceremony that embodies both the history built over those 80 years and the expectations we hold for the future.
Were there any sustainability-conscious initiatives in this event? (Including things that unconsciously ended up being sustainable as a result)
Our awards ceremony is a long-standing tradition, held every year except during the interruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, it has evolved with the times, such as expanding beyond its original focus on sales companies to include a wider range of participants.
What has always remained the same is the belief that “because the growth of the company depends on the achievements of each individual employee, it is essential for the management team to directly recognize and appreciate those efforts.” Even if the methods of running the ceremony change over time, we intend to continue carrying forward with that spirit.
