ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot… Over the past few years, AI has rapidly become part of our daily lives and work. Polishing text, summarizing materials, generating ideas—having AI right beside us is no longer something special. As a leading company in the event industry, Global Produce aims to continue riding the waves of the times. That is precisely why we cannot afford to ignore the evolution of AI.

About half a year ago, we launched the “GP-AI 500% TEAM” to actively promote the use of AI across the company, marking the start of full-scale implementation. We also regularly hold AI skills training sessions with external instructors, making this one of our hottest initiatives right now.

Then one day, a message from President Kouhata echoed through our company-wide Slack.

“Let’s dramatically increase our use of AI and continue to boost productivity and creativity by installing AI monitors.”

And with that, today I’d like to introduce our “AI Monitors” in detail!

AI Monitors Introduced Across the Company

Just one week after the president’s announcement… AI-dedicated monitors were installed on every employee’s desk. This speed truly embodies the “Speed Company” that GP continually strives to be!

Employees already had large monitors at their desks, and now an additional two screens have been added. With all these monitors, it almost feels like we’ve become hackers (laughs).

What Exactly Is an AI Monitor, and How Is It Used?

When you hear the term “AI monitor,” many of you may not immediately picture what it actually does. In fact, the AI monitors we introduced are not special high-tech devices with built-in advanced functions. From a hardware perspective, they are simple external monitors.

So what makes them “AI monitors”?

The idea is simple: AI is always open on this dedicated screen. Whether you’re researching, writing, or planning, AI is right there beside you. This naturally leads you to think, “Why not ask AI?” Instead of launching it only when needed, AI is always ready to use. This makes collaboration with AI a daily habit.

In other words, by installing AI monitors, interaction with AI becomes part of everyday work, turning every employee into an “AI native.” That is President Kouhata’s vision behind this initiative.

Hearing from a GP Employee: First Impressions

So how did things change after introducing AI monitors? We asked Yanase, known as the most gentlemanly member of our new graduate class, about his experience.

Yanase:
“Quite simply, it feels like my range of capabilities has expanded. With more monitors, I can display internal tools and emails at the same time, which has improved my work efficiency. Having AI constantly beside me makes it much easier to combine AI with my everyday tasks. Because it’s right there on the next screen, I naturally find myself thinking, ‘Maybe I should use AI for this task.’”

In practice, he’s making full use of AI in his daily work—writing emails and GP Journal articles, creating meeting minutes, and managing projects. Just having AI close at hand seems to be gradually changing the rhythm of work itself.

I use it in a similar way, and I can honestly say the efficiency gains are on a completely different level. I personally like using voice input, and being able to dictate while simultaneously typing on another monitor feels like working at the cutting edge of productivity.
