You might be wondering, “Why sponsor a Fukuoka soccer team when the company is based in Tokyo?” The answer, of course, lies in the fact that our CEO, Mitsuhata, is originally from Fukuoka.

Sports teams, not just soccer teams, often have strong ties to their local communities, and Avispa Fukuoka is no exception. In fact, our CEO, Mitsuhata, has such a deep love for his hometown that he chooses Fukuoka’s famous sweets for seasonal gift-giving like Ochugen and Oseibo. So, becoming a sponsor of Fukuoka’s professional sports team might have been inevitable for us.
