Beyond Individual Skill: GP Professional Team’s Challenge to Strengthen Organizational Planning Capabilities

Last Update | 2025.10.31 COMPANY

Hello, this is Kawamoto from GP.
Today, I’d like to share a new initiative we’ve launched inside GP to further strengthen our planning capabilities.

Why We Are Focusing on Organizational Planning Capabilities Now

“How do we create concepts that truly resonate with clients?”
This is a question we have always pursued—but now, we are tackling it at the organizational level.

Event production often depends heavily on the skills and intuition of individual producers. While individual talent is valuable, relying on it too much makes it difficult to ensure consistency and evolution across the entire company. This is a common challenge in the event industry—and GP is no exception.

Because we produce events across diverse genres and scales, we need a system that balances flexibility with reproducibility.
In pursuit of that system, and in consultation with our CEO Mitsuhata, we have launched what we currently call the GP Professional Team.

What the Professional Team Seeks to Achieve

The goal of this team is not simply to train individuals.
Its purpose is to raise GP’s overall planning standard, and ultimately, to maximize client outcomes and satisfaction.

This initiative serves as a strategic foundation that allows us to deliver proposals that are faster, deeper, and more precise. As the team’s knowledge circulates throughout the organization, every project benefits. The true objective is to build a mechanism that sustains this quality.

The team is made up of members with specialized strengths—PPT specialists, researchers, production (演出) leads, content directors, and more. They collect creative references, case studies, and new methods of expression from around the world, share and discuss them inside the company, and translate them into practical resources that can be used in real proposals.

The key is not information, but application.
By focusing on converting insights into usable output, we aim to elevate the accuracy and depth of daily planning work across GP.

In essence, the Professional Team functions as GP’s internal creative lab—transforming personal skills into shared language and organizational strength.

Strengthening Creativity Through AI

There is another key element: ensuring we maintain a distinctive creative edge.

GP places great importance on proposals that not only make sense—but that capture attention and move the heart. To achieve that level of creativity, we need the ability to match insights to client challenges and refine them into compelling stories.

A defining characteristic of the Professional Team is its full integration of AI tools.
We actively use ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Midjourney, and DALL·E—across research, script development, copywriting, concept refinement, and visual creation.

AI has already become a trusted creative partner, enabling us to achieve both speed and quality.
However, the real value lies not in simply “using AI,” but in how strategically it is used and who it benefits.

Reducing dependency on individuals × Expanding organizational capability through AI.
With this dual approach, we are working to evolve GP’s proposal power as a whole.

Everything is for delivering greater results and satisfaction to our clients.

The “Unseen Lead Role” Supporting GP’s Value

I see this team as the unsung hero behind the scenes.
While producers may stand in the spotlight during proposals, it is the accumulated insights and shared methodology behind them that support GP’s true strength.

Because of this team, GP can approach client challenges not only with individual skill, but with the strength of the organization as one.

And I truly believe that once this project matures, GP will move to yet another stage of growth.
