An Event Producer’s Take on a Year-End Party: “GP MUSIC STATION” Comes to Life!
Hello, this is Kosuge from GP.
Before we knew it, the year was already coming to an end. The other day, we invited our valued partners for a Year-End Party, and today I’d like to share what a year-end celebration looks like when it’s produced by an event company.
The Theme: That Iconic Music Show
When you hear “year-end party,” you might imagine a simple dinner or drinks. But GP’s year-end party is a little different.
This year’s theme was “GP MUSIC STATION.”
The venue was Robin Club, a restaurant equipped with a stage and karaoke facilities. When President Kohata happened to visit for lunch, he immediately decided, “Let’s hold the year-end party here.” From there came the idea: “If we’re going to do this, let’s not just have GP members sing—let’s invite our partners to join as well.” And so, the concept of GP MUSIC STATION was born.
GP MUSIC STATION Begins!
With that, GP MUSIC STATION officially kicked off, bringing together a total of 80 participants—40 GP members and 40 partners. The opening kicked off with the familiar theme song of that iconic TV program, followed by the appearance of President Kohata—also known as “Tamori” (?), complete with his signature sunglasses—taking the stage.

Participants were divided into mixed teams of GP members and partners. Each team selected a representative to perform a song, which was then scored based on the personal judgment and bias of President Kohata a.k.a. “Tamori.” The goal: to crown the ultimate GP MUSIC STATION Champion.
GP MUSIC STATION | GP Members’ Performances
First up were the GP members’ performances—the official start of GP M-Sute!

From the very beginning, the energy was electric. Some members took the stage in fully committed costumes, while others delivered sharp, well-practiced dance performances as a team. Truly what you’d expect from an event production company.

GP “First-Class Rating Check”
Between performances, we held a special segment: the GP First-Class Rating Check, led by the team leaders.
The challenges included:
- Identifying a “first-class” senryu poem among ones written by AI, staff members, and a professional poet
- Identifying a premium wine
In a surprising twist, even President Kohata failed to identify the premium wine…!

GP MUSIC STATION | Partners’ Performances
Next came the partners’ performance segment.
Despite being asked to sing on the spot, everyone delivered outstanding performances and knew exactly how to energize the crowd—proof that they are true professionals in the event industry. As a special guest, Matsushita from Rarewelina took the stage with “YAH YAH YAH,” bringing the excitement to its peak.

The Final Results & Grand Finale
Now for the moment of truth—the announcement of the GP MUSIC STATION Champions.
GP Members Division:
Ryo Kawashima Song: “Young Man (Y.M.C.A.)”
His performance brought the entire venue together, filling the room with unity and excitement. (Being able to deliver at the decisive moment—that’s impressive.)

Partners Division:
The Yamanobe Brothers
They performed “Natsu no Owari no Harmony” by Yosui Inoue & Koji Tamaki, captivating the audience with their beautiful harmony. They also support GP extensively in the areas of GP-WEB and GP DX—we are truly grateful for their continued partnership.

The night concluded with a grand finale, in true GP fashion.

Seeing our partners genuinely enjoy themselves made us feel that, through this event, we were able to give something back. Thank you sincerely to everyone who joined us despite your busy schedules.
In Closing
Finally, I’d like to share a reflection inspired by this event.
This experience reaffirmed my belief that the act of people gathering itself holds immense value. When people come together, smiles emerge, conversations begin, and energy for tomorrow is created.
Events may not be essential infrastructure—something society cannot function without. But I believe people naturally seek moments where they can receive positive energy through shared experiences. Events may not be indispensable, but they are something that will never disappear.
Watching GP members and our partners laugh, cheer, and enjoy the moment together reminded me once again that events are truly something special. And I felt deeply grateful to be working in this field.
With this feeling in our hearts, we look forward to delivering even more inspiring events to you in the coming year.
