Hello! Yuki from GP here.
We’ve just reached the halfway mark of Expo 2025 Osaka, and the excitement is still going strong. World Expos are renowned for fusing cutting‑edge technology with creativity, delivering breathtaking experiences that linger in the memory. For event professionals like us, they’re a goldmine of inspiration.
“So, how can we weave a bit of that Expo magic into GP’s own events?”
With that question in mind, I’ve hand‑picked several standout productions from the Expo and re‑imagined them—GP‑style—so you can adapt them for your next business event or internal gathering!
No. 1: Pick a Word to “Take Home” – Inspired by the Poland Pavilion
What first grabbed my attention was the Poland Pavilion’s exhibition space. Thousands of cards dangled from the ceiling, covering an entire wall—so many that it felt as though the very words were painting the room.
Each card carried a line from Polish poetry, and—here’s the twist—visitors could choose one they liked and take it home! By moving from simply “looking” to actively “choosing and taking,” the installation etched the poems more deeply into each guest’s memory.
Now, imagine adapting that idea for a GP event…

How about adding an interactive twist to your venue décor? By weaving in “take‑home messages”—be it the CEO’s words or a line that captures your brand philosophy—you give attendees something tangible to remember. Letting them select a favorite makes the experience stick even more. A visually striking design also ensures the display is highly photogenic—perfect for driving social‑media buzz!
No. 2: Draw Your Company’s Future Together – Inspired by the Flying Car Station
Next, let’s look at the Flying Car Station.
This pavilion features a cutting‑edge theater that blends visuals, sound, and floor vibrations to let you “feel” a future filled with flying cars. While you wait for the show to begin, each guest is handed a tablet.

There, visitors can let their imaginations soar by designing their very own “flying car.” Even better, the moment they finish, their custom creation appears on the main theater’s screen. Watching everyone’s designs paint the future cityscape sparked an instant sense of unity and exhilaration. Imagine bringing that kind of immersive experience to a GP event!

This interactive installation invites guests to “illustrate” the company’s future. Pose prompts such as, “What do you think Company X’s ideal future looks like?” or “Describe your dream workplace of tomorrow.” Participants then use tablets to sketch their ideas freely. As everyone’s “future blueprints” appear on the venue’s screens in real time, you create a powerful sense of co‑creation around the company’s vision. Easy to join regardless of age, gender, or nationality, it’s a fresh, engaging way to spark conversation and connection.
No. 3: “Measure” the Moment Your Heart Stirs – Inspired by TECH WORLD
At the TECH WORLD pavilion, each visitor is handed a smartwatch.

As visitors tour the exhibits wearing the watch, their heart rate is monitored in real time. In other words, the system pinpoints the exact moment each person is most emotionally engaged and then recommends a tailor‑made journey based on that data.
Couldn’t we apply this concept to a conference?

By tracking attendees’ heart‑rate data during sessions, we can identify the topics that genuinely spark their interest. The system would then automatically steer each participant toward breakout sessions and exhibits that match their individual preferences. It’s a fresh take on event personalization—offering every guest an experience tailored just for them!
No. 4: Immerse with Multi‑Layer Screens – Inspired by the Spain Pavilion

At the Spain Pavilion, the theme of the “Kuroshio Current” conveys the long‑standing ties between Japan and Spain. LED screens in a variety of shapes and arrangements fill the venue, weaving visuals, sound, and imagery into a richly layered, single storyline that draws visitors in.
We’d love to harness that same immersive power for GP’s business events!

We reimagined the keynote stage with screens of various shapes and layers! By simultaneously displaying keywords, speaker expressions, and slide content, the setup delivers information in a “three-dimensional” way. This layered approach allows each viewer to absorb the story from different angles, turning the entire space into a dynamic, narrative-driven environment—deepening understanding and engagement across the room.
No. 5: Draw Them In with a Curved LED Gate – Inspired by the Malta Pavilion

Last but not least: the entrance to the Malta Pavilion—a striking, immersive gateway made from a massive curved LED screen. While large LED displays are common, the experience of actually “entering into” the screen itself is something truly rare and memorable.
This cool and captivating entryway is definitely something we’d love to bring into a GP event!

How about using this for a speaker’s grand entrance? A curved LED screen creates an enveloping visual experience, dramatically amplifying the sense of scale within the space. Imagine a presenter emerging from a tunnel of immersive visuals—the impact would be unforgettable. It’s a bold, dynamic staging idea that’s sure to captivate your audience!
Summary
The Expo is a window into the “society of the future.” But what struck us most was how many of its ideas can already be applied to the events we create today. How do we make an event experience truly memorable? By engaging the senses and stirring the heart, business events can evolve—and the Expo made that clearer than ever.
Now, it’s our turn. At GP, we’ll continue to turn inspiration into innovation, delivering cutting-edge event experiences shaped by the future we imagine—starting now.
