Three Brand-New Event Venues Just Opened in Tokyo!

Last Update | 2025.11.03 TREND

Hello! This is Shigeta from GP.

Recently, I wrote an article about new venues opened in Osaka ahead of the Expo.
This time—it’s Tokyo’s turn.
Several exciting venues opened here last year, and I’d love to introduce some of them!

TAKANAWA GATEWAY Convention Center

TAKANAWA GATEWAY Convention Center is truly a brand-new venue, having opened on March 27, 2025.
It’s just a 3–5 minute walk from the South Exit of Takanawa Gateway Station—an unbeatable location.

Both the station and the venue are new and clean, which naturally elevates the attendee experience.

As shown above, the B2F and B1F convention floors include:

  • LINKPILLAR Hall (approx. 1,640 sqm / capacity ~2,000 people)
  • Plus a variety of smaller conference rooms and waiting rooms.

LINKPILLAR Hall also features a 7-meter ceiling, making it ideal for impressive spatial designs and impactful staging.

Honestly… I can’t wait to produce an event here!

However—because it’s brand-new, it’s already in high demand, so bookings can be competitive.

During my visit, I joined the “Future Experience Theater” exhibition tracing the history and future vision of Takanawa Gateway.
(It runs until June 28, 2025, and admission is free!)

I was surprised to see some incredible built structures installed inside the venue—very inspiring.

On the 6F Conference Floor, the open atmosphere and warm wooden textures make for a beautifully welcoming environment.
JR East was hosting an exhibition called “Railway and City Development Toward the Future.”
It was well worth seeing—highly recommended if you’re planning a site visit.

There’s something energizing about walking through a brand-new venue.
Maybe it’s just my event-producer instincts kicking in! (hah)

TODA HALL & CONFERENCE TOKYO (Nihonbashi)

Next is TODA HALL & CONFERENCE TOKYO, which opened in November 2024 in Nihonbashi.
The design is striking as soon as you step into the lobby.

The main event floor is on the 4th floor.
During my visit, Adobe Summit Japan was taking place, so I couldn’t go inside—but the venue website shows a very sleek and sophisticated event atmosphere.
The ceiling height is 6 meters, and the hall can accommodate about 500 people in theater format.

And guess what—
The foyer is equipped with a projection system, allowing you to create immersive visual ambience before attendees even enter the hall.
I really want to try designing with that foyer projector.

Shintora Yasuda Building – NIKAI Conference (Shimbashi)

The NIKAI Conference venue opened in May 2024 in the newly built Shintora Yasuda Building in Shimbashi.

It offers:

  • Great central-city accessibility
  • A modern space layout
  • Strong AV capabilities
  • Flexible room configurations

Since it’s located within an office building, it’s perfect for clients who say:

“We want to hold an event, but we don’t want to go too far from the office…”

Capacity:

  • Approx. 300 people (school setup)
  • Approx. 400 people (theater setup)

Equipped with LED lighting, screens, and projectors—it’s a well-balanced and reliable venue choice.

In Summary

What do you think?

New event venues are being built even as we speak.
We’ll continue keeping an eye out for newly opened and newly renovated spaces—and share them with you here.

And of course—
If you’re considering hosting an event at one of these new venues,
GLOBAL PRODUCE would be honored to support your production.
