Hello everyone, this is Kumaki from GP.

Today, I’d like to introduce a world-first permanent Pokémon facility that is hugely popular across genders and generations alike. Its name is “Poké PARK KANTO.”
The location is inside Tokyo Yomiuriland, and it is scheduled to grandly open on Thursday, February 5, 2026!

The “KANTO” in Poké PARK KANTO comes from two sources: the Kanto region, which was the setting of the very first Pokémon games Pokémon Red and Green released in 1996, and the Kanto area of Japan, where Yomiuriland is located.
Poké PARK KANTO is said to be home to an astonishing 600 Pokémon!

Two Areas: “Pokémon Forest” and “Kayatsuri Town”

Poké PARK KANTO is made up of two distinct areas: “Pokémon Forest,” where many Pokémon live in a lush, nature-rich environment, and “Kayatsuri Town,” a place where Trainers from all over the world gather.

Pokémon Forest

Pokémon Forest stretches over an impressive 500 meters, featuring grassy areas, uneven paths, tunnels, and mountain trails—creating a space that truly feels like being deep in a real forest. And within that forest live countless Pokémon.

You’ll encounter Pokémon with all kinds of expressions, Pokémon quietly hiding out of sight, and even Pokémon you can ride on their backs…! I definitely want to try that myself.

Kayatsuri Town is home to a Pokémon Center, a Friendly Shop, and the Kayatsuri Gym, where you can enjoy stage shows. There are also two attractions: Pikachu and friends’ “Pika Pika Paradise,” and Eevee and friends’ merry-go-round, “Eevee Eevee Voyage.”
On top of that, visitors can experience a greeting parade where Pokémon gather together. So… cute!

Tickets on Sale from November 21, 2025
