Hello, everyone. This is Miyanaga from GP here.

Today, I’d like to introduce some special planetariums that will surely excite you.

What Konica Minolta Planetarium is offering this season for lovers is a playful gift to enjoy before the main show begins. Would you happen to know of the “Illumination Welcome Dome”?

Indoor activities to warm up on cold winter nights

When it comes to Konica Minolta, a group known for producing planetarium-related equipment and video software, their planetarium events are always highly entertaining. This year as well, photo-friendly illumination visuals are being screened during the waiting time before the main show at the five planetariums they operate!

Displayed on giant screens, these spectacular visuals feature enchanting Christmas sights of falling snow and lights underneath a starry sky. This incredibly immersive experience, which began on Friday, November 1st, runs through Wednesday, December 25th. It’s the perfect opportunity to create irreplaceable memories with someone special.

This event is called the “Illumination Welcome Dome,” and as the name suggests, it is an interlude visual displayed when guests enter the dome. Upon stepping inside, you’re greeted with a magical Christmas scene of snow falling underneath  a starry sky.

During the five-ten minutes before the main show begins, you can enjoy the luxurious moment, blending a warm, cozy indoor environment with stars and lights from the sky outside. You can even take photos and videos during the welcome visuals, making it an exceptionally social-media-worthy experience. The sensibility behind this is simply amazing!
