Yashima Mountaintop Facility (Nickname: Yashimāru)
Venue Features
Yashima is home to historic landmarks such as the ancient mountain castle Yashimajō, the battleground of the Genpei War, and the Yashima-dera Temple, the 84th temple of the Shikoku 88-temple pilgrimage route. It is also designated as part of Japan’s first national park, Setonaikai National Park. This facility, developed on the mountaintop of Yashima—and one of Takamatsu’s famous tourist attractions—can be used as a venue for meetings and excursions. It offers panoramic views of the calm Seto Inland Sea and sunset and night views of Takamatsu City, making it an excellent candidate for post convention activities.
