GP Hosts 2026 Entrance Ceremony, Welcoming Seven New Team Members

Hello! This is Yoshimura from GP.

It’s hard to believe that a full year has already passed since I joined the company. Last year, I attended the entrance ceremony as a new employee, but this year, I had the opportunity to be part of the team welcoming our new members.

In this article, I would like to share a glimpse into GP’s 2026 Entrance Ceremony, where we welcomed our newest team members.

Theme: “Coronation”

This year’s theme was “Coronation.”

The goal was to create a moment where each new employee could truly feel that they had become part of GP, while also recognizing the responsibility they are about to carry. Just as a crown is bestowed upon a new king, the ceremony was designed as a solemn ritual that symbolizes being officially welcomed as a member of GP.

Venue: Anniversaire Omotesando

The ceremony was held at Anniversaire Omotesando, located within walking distance of the GP office. The venue is designed around the concept of “creating a new path in Omotesando.”

For new employees who are about to begin a new chapter in their careers at GP, the entrance ceremony represents the very beginning of a new journey. As a place to celebrate and welcome their new path, the venue aligned perfectly with the theme.

Anniversaire Omotesando is widely known as a wedding venue, but it is also used for corporate events such as entrance ceremonies and award ceremonies. This experience once again reminded us of the importance of leveraging the meaning behind a venue in event production.

Program Highlights

Entrance of New Employees

As the chapel doors opened, each new employee entered one by one.

They walked down the aisle—commonly associated with weddings, but also symbolizing one’s past, present, and future. This meaningful pathway made for a fitting entrance, representing the beginning of a new journey.

Surrounded by senior team members, the new employees took their first steps into this new chapter.

Message from the CEO

At milestone moments like this, words from the company’s leadership have a powerful impact.

The message, though simple, was filled with important values for the journey ahead. It was also a moment that encouraged all of us to refocus and reaffirm our own mindset.

Seeing the new employees listening attentively, it truly felt like a defining moment where they embraced both the expectations and responsibilities that come with joining GP.

Promotion Ceremony (Years 2–5)

Following the CEO’s message, a promotion ceremony was held for members in their 2nd to 5th years.

This segment highlighted that not only new employees, but also existing members reaching key milestones are recognized and celebrated.

As roles and responsibilities evolve with each year, this ceremony served as a meaningful checkpoint—an opportunity to acknowledge growth and step into the next stage.

It was also a moment to reflect that there is no single path forward, but rather a continuous process of growth and progression.

Director Panel Discussion

After the formal ceremony in the chapel, the event moved to a banquet space for a networking session.

One of the key programs was a panel discussion featuring fourth-year directors.

The discussion centered around:

  • What they value in achieving the company’s vision
  • What they found valuable during their time as Assistant Producers

Rather than offering generic advice, the directors shared their real experiences—what they prioritize and how they overcame challenges.

There was also a Q&A session with the new employees, making it a valuable opportunity for them to envision their future at GP.

New Employee Declaration

To close the event, each new employee shared their personal declaration.

What kind of value will they create?
What kind of producer do they aspire to become?

Having experienced the ceremony—from the entrance to the CEO’s message and exposure to GP’s culture—their words reflected genuine determination and personal commitment.

From this moment on, each of their own “producing journeys” begins.
