Special Video Release: GLOBAL PRODUCE 2026 New Member VTR

Hello, this is Shigeta from GP.

Today, we are excited to share the promotional VTR featuring the new members who joined GP this year! Along with the video itself, we would also like to introduce some of the key production points and creative details behind it.

GP NEW MEMBER VTR

First of all, please take a look at the video below.

From the speed and rhythm of the scene transitions to the motion design of the typography, we carefully produced every single detail with intention. And above all, it is hard to believe that these new employees were still students just last month—their confident presence and performance in front of the camera were truly impressive.

Production Highlights

From here, we would like to walk you through some of the creative highlights behind the production.

Overall Concept Design

The original inspiration for this VTR came from “movie trailers.”

We drew ideas from trailers across various genres, including Michael Jackson, The Intern, The Devil Wears Prada 2, and Chihayafuru. (In fact, I watched around 60 to 70 trailers during train rides while researching references! (laughs))

What we wanted to express most was the feeling of “wanting to watch it again.” To achieve that, we intentionally chose not to reveal everything within the video.

By the way, the initial concept image for the VTR looked very different from the final version shown here.

The Energy of Typography

One of the major elements that added momentum to the VTR was the use of impactful typography. Rather than simply placing text on screen, we repeated words and phrases while varying their size and speed to create dynamic movement throughout the video.

In addition, our company Vision and guiding principles, the “5 SPIRITS,” repeatedly appear throughout the VTR.

The balance, intensity, and rhythm of typography are extremely important elements when it comes to building excitement and visually engaging viewers.

This time, not only the new employees but also some senior staff members appeared in the VTR as well, allowing us to showcase the active communication and relationships within the company.

We hope viewers can feel the organizational structure and fast-paced energy of GLOBAL PRODUCE through the video.

Introducing the New Graduates

Of course, the introduction scenes featuring each new employee were another major point of focus.

To ensure that viewers could clearly recognize and remember each of the seven new members, we used dark backgrounds with dramatic lighting to highlight portrait-style visuals.

In addition, each member was given their own unique catchphrase. We intentionally aimed for expressions that would make viewers pause and think, “Hmm?”—so we would be happy if even one phrase catches your attention.

If we have the opportunity to work together at an event someday, we would love to introduce them to you in person.

The Whiteboard Scene

Personally, this is my favorite part of the video. (I discussed and adjusted this section with the production team countless times.)

The image inspiration came from the type of investigation whiteboard often seen in overseas detective movies and dramas.

We embedded multiple layers of meaning into the scene while still leaving room for viewers’ own interpretations—such as:
“How people from many different fields gather at GLOBAL PRODUCE,”
“How embodying each of the 5 SPIRITS ultimately leads to GLOBAL PRODUCE,”
and “How events are built through the combination of many different elements.”

(Actually, this is the part I most hope resonates with everyone… (laughs))
